Eire og and Aghabullogue must meet again in the 1^st round of the Mid Cork Junior A Hurling

Championship played in sun splashed Cloughduv on Tuesday night.

A 61^st min goal from Eire og corner-forward Brian Kirwan drew the game for Eire og on the 20 metre line to pass about 8 Aghabullogue players in the goal. Aghabullogue opened the scoring on the 1^st min from corner forward Dan Twomey.Eire og replied with 2 in a row points from Brian Kirwan frees.Aghabullogue responded from a Mark o Flynn free.Brian kirwan put Eire og ahead from another free but was cancelled out by a Paudie Twomey score for Aghabullogue,.Eire og then went 2 points ahead after scores from Brian Kirwan free and Daniel o Shea point left the score Eire og 0-5 Aghabullogue 0-3.

Aghabullogue drew the game from 2 Mark o Flynn free left the score Aghabullogue 0-5 Eire og 0-5 after 15 mins. Aghabullogue then tacked on 2 points from John Kelliher  and Mark o Flynn free.Eire og then drew the game from 2 Brian kirwan frees left the score level 0-7 each.on the 26min Eire og missed a very good chance for a goal but somehow Aghabullogue defenders drove it out the pitch,then Brian kirwan free put Eire og ahead but on the stroke of half time Aghabullogue drew the match from Tim o Leary  this left the half time score Ere og 0-8 Aghabullogue 0-8.

Into the 2^nd half  Aghabullogue went ahead from a Paudie Twomey point.Eire og then tapped over 2 points in a row from Ronan Dennehy and Fintan Brennan,hard working Aghabullogue midfielder Mark o Flynn drew the game to leave the score 0-10 each.It could have been different after an outstanding save from Aghabullogue Keeper Donal Twomey to deny Conor Hallissey.Aghabullogue went ahead from a Mark o Flynn free.but then Eire og drew level from Brian Kirwan free to leave the score Aghabullogue 0-11 Eire og 0-11 after 45mins,

Aghabullogue went 2 points ahead from wing back Sean o Sullivan and Mark o Flynn free.Eire og responded from brian kirwan free but Aghabullogue pointed from Dan Twomey to put 2 points between the sides..Aghabullogue went 3 points ahead with 2 mins to go from a point from Danny buckley.Eire og replied with a free from Brian kirwan.Aghabullogue put 3 points between the sides from Dan twomey with time up 61 mins gone.from the puck out brian kirwan grabbed the ball and ran for goal and was pulled down just outside the 20metre line and somehow got the ball in the top corner after a powerful strike to leave the Aghabullogue players stunned to draw the match.Teams must meet again.
