   Canovee played Macroom in Carrigadrohid on April.11th. Canovee had a very youthfull team on duty.This game produced passages of good football and was very competive.Macroom led at half time by 2.04 to 1.05 with James Moynhian scoring the Canovee goal.in the second half Macroom held their lead all the way to the end despite a second Canovee goal by Michael Quinlan.at the final whitsle Macroom were worthy winners by 2.11 to 2.08.
