JFC - First Round Replay:
Ballincollig   2 â 6     Clondrohid   1 - 8
Clondrohid will feel that they deserved a draw in this championship replay a t Kilmurry but they now go into a âlast chance saloonâ game with champions Kilmichael in Round Two in late June.  This was a rousing championship encounter  played in a fine sporting spirit and gave great entertainment to the spectators who watched on in cold and at times very heavy rain. The Ballincollig goals were vital to their cause, the first after 12 minutes helped them to a 1-4 to 0-5 interval lead and the second scored five minutes from time turned a two point deficit into their one point winning margin.  Clondrohid did have some chances of an equaliser in the time remaining but did not always take the right options and unfortunately suffered the consequences after a fine display.
