Uibh laoire led for most of the match,went into half time 9 points up

Dripsey started second half well scoring 2 goals,one coming from a penelty to level the game
1-11 to 2-8
Uibh Laoire then went on to win the match with less then 5 minutes to go,points coming from Colin Tanner and Donal o Sullivan.

         Clondrohid 1-11  Dripsey 1-7
 . Dripsey's poor run of form continued despite a great start where they led 1-2 to no score after 6 minutes. From then to half time Clondrohid did all the scoring and led 1-6 to 1-2 at half time. Despite a good effort in the second half Dripsey could never get back to level terms. The selectors face a worrying time in their preparation for the championship match against Donoughmore on Friday 27 April. This was a good workout for Dripsey against a well drilled Ballingeary second string notable for the inclusion of former Cork Senior John O'Driscoll who even at 44 still showed some great touches and scored a couple of lovely points. Dripsey's usual high tempo running game eventually wore Ballingeary down and they ran out convincing winners in the end.
