Aghabullogue   1 - 11    Canovee   0 – 8 

 

 

.....Aghabullogue are Macroom Motors Muskerry U21 B Football champions for the second time in four years after getting the better of a fine Canovee side in the replay of the final at Kilmichael.  It was neck and neck all the way from the start to the 23^rdminute when with the score at 0-4 each, Aghabullogue got the only goal of the game from full forward David Thompson.  They led by two points at the break, added three points on the restart to go well clear but then Canovee dominated for ten minutes and cut the lead back to 1-7 to 0-8. 

Aghabullogue, with the strong wind behind them, finished well and four unanswered points left them in control at the end.
