Announcement may be a bit later than usual but we have a consensus on the August Sports Star. It has to be ladies choice and it has to be Eimear Scally of Cork Ladies Football team.  Although the ultimate award eluded them at the final hurdle Eimear was instrumental in their games in August  to get them to the final.  Eimear also plays her club football with Eire Og. Eimear has always been on the radar of the awards committee.  Eimear along with family, friends and team mates will be guests at the Auld Triangle in Macroom where she will receive her award. Congratulations Eimear.
